Lima, the capital of Peru is a busy and lively city.
Modern architecture has replaced much of the traditional design; however
several fine colonial buildings do remain. Away from the centre, the
fashionable areas of San Isidro and Miraflores are relaxing places to
stay. There are a number of good museums, the best of which houses an
extraordinary collection of pre-Columbian gold, silver and military arms.

Country Club

First opened in 1927, the Country Club is located in Lima’s
smart San Isidro district. There are 75 rooms, all of which are of a good size.
Artwork from the colonial period hangs on the hotel walls; modern design is complemented
by traditional Peruvian finishings.
