Peru & Bolivia
Synonymous with the Inca, the culture and heritage of both countries remains incredibly strong. Sail across Lake Titicaca or walk amongst ancient ruins in Peru’s Sacred Valley. Llamas are your constant land companion whilst high up condors circle above you.

La Paz has a unique and beautiful setting. Situated 300 metres below the altiplano, the city sprawls upwards around the steep sides of a canyon. Best viewed from above, with the snow-capped peaks of Mount Illimani in the background, La Paz is an interesting architectural mix of both modern and colonial styles. There are several good museums and a number of weird and wonderful traditional markets. Nearby day excursions include, the world’s highest ski resort at Chacaltaya and the mysterious pre-Inca ruins at Tiahuanaco. Travel north from La Paz, cross the Andes, then drop down through the cloud into the lush sub-tropical valley of the Yungas. Hummingbirds dart amongst the coffee and banana plantations. The little village of Coroico is a magical place to head to if you are looking for warmer temperatures and a few days at lower altitude.
