Mexico
Mexico is an intense and highly rewarding travel destination.
Well preserved Mayan and Aztec ruins are scattered across
the country. Wander the cobbled streets of lovely colonial towns,
relax under the palms of a sandy beach or go whale-watching
off the dramatic Baja Peninsula.

Four times larger than its famous Arizona relation, the Copper Canyon is home to 290 species of bird as well as a transient population of approximately 50,000 semi-nomads. The canyon is best known for its remarkable train line. Completed in 1961 the line is nothing short of an engineering marvel. Departing from the coastal town of Los Mochis the train makes its way over 39 bridges, through 86 tunnels and scales passes in excess of 8000 feet. The scenery passed en-route to Chihuahua (the train’s final destination), is nothing short of spectacular. This is without doubt one of the worlds finest rail journeys.
