Caribbean
What better way to end your Americas holiday than with a few days relaxation on a beautiful Caribbean beach. Lying under a palm tree,
drink in hand and that arduous walk to Machu Picchu will seem like
a very distant memory.

The largest of the Netherlands Antilles group of islands, Curaçao is a beautiful island with plenty of excellent Caribbean beaches. Almost all of the island’s activity is centred along the southern coast and it is here that you find the best diving and snorkelling. Capital of the Netherlands Antilles, Willemstad is a brightly coloured carbon copy of a traditional Dutch settlement. Punda, with its narrow winding streets is at the heart of Willemstad and is a real pleasure to explore. If staying near to Willemstad you may like to consider dining in town; there are a number of good restaurants and the seafood is excellent. Sailing from Willemstad, local vessels take you along the coast or across to the nearby island of Klein Curaçao. An easy day trip, this allows you to experience alternative beaches and bays. The island has a good selection of quality hotels.
