Caribbean
What better way to end your Americas holiday than with a few days relaxation on a beautiful Caribbean beach. Lying under a palm tree,
drink in hand and that arduous walk to Machu Picchu will seem like
a very distant memory.

Largest of the Leeward Islands, Antigua is a well developed Caribbean destination. The coastline is very dramatic, there are sweeping bays, beautiful sandy beaches and there are many small islands close to shore. Antigua has many good quality resorts and hotels. Properties are spread out around the island, so you do not have the feeling of treading on other peoples toes. Diving and snorkelling is good round much of the island, inland there are two 18 hole golf courses. The island has strong nautical ties with the UK; Admiral Nelson was stationed in Antigua. To the south of the island Nelson’s Dockyard has been renovated and is now an important historical and tourist attraction. Antigua is a great destination if looking for a classic Caribbean island with additional activities.
