ever inquisitive Polar Bear.

This world famous mountain chain stretches from the Yukon province in the north, down through British Columbia, Alberta and on into the United States. It is a region of outstanding natural beauty and one that is easy to explore, so hire a car and head to the hills. The numerous jagged peaks that dominate the skyline regularly climb above 10,000 feet. Travel to Banff National Park to see over 20 mountains of 10,000 or more set against beautiful emerald lakes such as Louise and Moraine. Perhaps the best way to appreciate the beauty of the mountains is by train. The Rocky Mountaineer departs from Vancouver and follows a spectacular route through forests, over high passes and through small hillside communities.
