Famous for its beautiful beaches and beautiful people, Brazil is
a cosmopolitan and tropical destination. Rio, the capital of carnival,
is a glamorous city with an unparalleled setting. Inland, Toucans
fly by the Iguassú Falls and piranhas patrol the channels of the
mighty River Amazon.

In a spectacular setting, surrounded by lush and dense vegetation; an amazing 275 different falls cascade down into the mighty Iguassú River. Bordering Argentina, the falls are without doubt one of the highlights of any South American journey. Impressive throughout the year, the experience from either country is very different. From the Brazilian side you are rewarded with an amazing panoramic view, cross over into Argentina and you will be able to walk above, next to and almost under the falls. Away from the falls, the Iguassú National Park is an attraction in its own right, walk amongst the forest and watch as hundreds of colourful butterflies fly around you.

Das Cataratas

The only hotel on the Brazilian side to be actually within the park. The Das Cataratas has far more charm than does its neighbour on the Argentine side. The hotel does not have direct views over the falls, however they are only a few minutes walk away.
