Belize & Guatemala
The world’s second largest coral reef hugs the coast of Belize.
Inland Mayan ruins dot the landscape and big cats roam the
dense jungle. Guatemala is a vibrant and fascinating country.
Experience its traditional markets, towering volcanoes and
colonial towns.

Only a half hour drive from Guatemala City is the wonderful colonial city of Antigua. Founded in 1543, Antigua is one of the Americas’ must see destinations. An easy place to explore on foot, each cobbled street has its share of brightly coloured houses and secret courtyards. The Spanish built several opulent churches and a number of grand town houses. Today many of these traditional houses have been converted into charming characterful hotels. There are good museums, a wide choice of quality restaurants and shopping is particularly good here. In the surrounding countryside three large volcanoes dominate the skyline; easily visible from Antigua they complement perfectly the intricate architecture and design of the town. Considering its close proximity to Guatemala City, Antigua makes the perfect place to stay near to the capital.
