Costa Rica
Argentina is a vast country and much of the land is virgin territory.
From windswept Patagonia in the south with its stunning glacial and mountain scenery, through cosmopiltan Buenos Aires to the mighty Iguazú Falls in the tropical north-east, Argentina is a country of
great diversity.

Argentina produces many fabulous wines and many of the country’s best vineyards can be found in the fertile valleys surrounding Mendoza. Several of these estates can be visited and their fine wines sampled. Nestling in the foothills of the Andes, Mendoza is a pleasant town with plenty of open spaces and green areas. Visible from the town, Mount Aconcagua is at 6960 metres the highest peak in the Americas. The road to Chile passes near Aconcagua and on a cloud free day the views are tremendous. Nearby is the fascinating geological site of Puente del Inca. Formed by sulphurous hot springs, a 20 metre high brightly coloured ‘bridge’ has slowly evolved and now spans the mighty Mendoza River.
