Costa Rica
Argentina is a vast country and much of the land is virgin territory.
From windswept Patagonia in the south with its stunning glacial and mountain scenery, through cosmopiltan Buenos Aires to the mighty Iguazú Falls in the tropical north-east, Argentina is a country of
great diversity.

A beautiful region of rolling countryside, snow capped volcanoes, crystal clear lakes and dense forests; the Lake District has some of Argentina’s finest scenery. Very much an outdoor destination, the walking is excellent, there is great fishing and in season, the mountains are popular with skiers. A great region to self-drive, the infrastructure is good, with hotels in the main towns such as Bariloche and also in the surrounding countryside, several of which offer spa facilities. Bordering Chile, it is possible to travel by boat between the two countries; a two-day cruise is the most relaxing way to make the journey. Attractive throughout the year, the region is particularly stunning in March and April when the trees start to turn and the landscape is a riot of autumnal colour.
