Arctic
If you like to be surrounded by wildlife in amazing scenery then
head to the unspoilt wilderness of the Arctic. Polar Bears and
walruses idle their days away on the blue ice, puffins and terns
fill the skies, whales and narwhals swim along the currents below.

Named after Vitus Bering, a Dutch born Russian explorer, the straits separate Russia from North America. During the ice age a land bridge connected the two continents and it is widely accepted that North American Indians crossed the ‘bridge’ on their way from Asia. At its narrowest the straits are no more than 50 miles wide. The wild and remote Dimoede Islands lie on the international border. Sail the two miles from Big to Little Diomede, enter North America and lose a day. Migrating seabirds fly high in the sky, Gray, Minke and Bowhead Whales can often be seen near to your vessel.
